Storage Field Day |
The time has come around quickly and yet again I find myself attending another Tech Field Day. However this will only be my third event; it’s also the very first Storage Field Day – an event dedicated to storage companies. Over the course of the two days we will see a range of companies, some of whom have presented before and some of whom I’m less familiar with. As usual there are eight presenting sponsors.
I’m looking forward to hearing more on Kaminaro, Nimbus Data and Tintri, all relative newcomers to the storage array market. Pure Storage also use SSD technology and have presented before. Contrasting their SSD-based approaches will be Coraid and Drobo, coming from the other end of the market.
